I think it would be fun if the Cullens met Julius first through the oldest vamp in their family ( I'm blanking on his name right now) Would be cool for his to tell them who Adam is and how old etc before he meets them.

Adam should invent the Guitar early instead of the 4 string guitar created in Spain during the 15th-16th century or the 6 string guitar during the 18th century. He doesn't have to share it just like he didn't share the lazyboy.
