Yep. Itachi lacked that passion and desire back from when he was still in the Shinobi World. Like his desire to protect Sasuke, and the passion he has in performing his duties.

I think the ideal wife or lover would be Captain Unohana, they both sacrificed themselves for what they believed was right. And I feel like their personalities match and Captain Unohana no longer likes violence like I think Itachi doesn't like it either, but it is a cruel world so they are obliged to exercise it. My curiosity is if both could have a son or daughter since it will be many years before Ichigo appears and if their son could inherit part of his parents' powers. That is, his eyes inherit the Bankai: Minazuki, from his mother.
