I would hardly say he had bad luck, if he wasn't such an a hole none of this would have happened in the first place. I mean sure it is unlucky to provoke a god, but he wouldn't have provoked the god in the first place if he just minded his own business and kept his hands to himself just like the guy he bullied, after all you won't easily provoke someone if you don't do something provocative.
The first chapter is short, but it serves as a basis for the rest of the novel. It's a bit weak overall, as it's a very quick introduction to everything, which leaves it as a very unsatisfying read. I'm also reading the Spanish translation, and there are many sentences that don't make much sense, a translation problem that is on par with Google Translate. Still, I have managed to follow a minimally coherent story, and no matter how weak it is, I have faith that it will improve as the chapters go by.
