Comments of chapter undefined of Shards of the Broken Heart

There are quite a few things that are bothering me so far, like the pace of the story or that you are not able to put yourself into the role of the MC while reading. But this chapter is by far the most disturbing thing that happend in the story so far. It is kinda unrealistic that his soul that was nearly completely consumed suddenly is healed again. Furthermore it happend because of what? Some memorys of a past life? I dont know but isnt the MC mother kinda OP in this world? How come she did not give him anything for protection or send some maids to protect him in secret?
