Thanks for the chapter and it may sound absurd but how about we improve Twilight Healing into a "Longinus" that can heal all the people in the world and that reduces to a certain extent the sensation of pain of humans when gravity returns to normal. Healing humans with a Twilight Healing version (Longinus) continuously while their bodies adapt to double gravity during the merging of worlds sounds crazy, but from what I understand, a strong will and determination from the user of a Sacred user Gear could create miracles.

Actually, the gravity will be halved if the size becomes double as well. Unless the density of earth changes after the merge, the radius will also double. and according to the gravitational formula i.e. GMm/r^2. The planets gravity will be halved if both M(mass of planet) and r(radius of planet) are doubled.

Interesting issue to encounter... never thought about it being a possibility. Although, with this, maybe the issues of Aldrich Killian and his Extremis could be solved if he is brought on and shown appreciation for his work. Recruiting him will lessen the amount of enemies Layla and co. will have to face on the Marvel side of things.

Wouldn’t the air become toxic to them as the concentration of Oxygen in the air alongside the Co2 and other gases double too? (And everything is about to suddenly be a lot more polluted so even the water could end up undrinkable/uninhabitable for a lot of species.)

thanks fo the chapters and for writing. you will need to enhance the flora and fauna of the world to have them survive to otherwise there won't be a point in saving humanity if they starve to death to to a complete ecosystem collapse

FYI it takes seven generations for any species to adapt to their environment, secondly scientists have already proven that humans can withstand 2x Earth's gravity. which would be more worried about is if uranium deposits were to get any bigger if they were to fuse into one solid Mass they could reach critical mass wherein they would detonate.
