Lots of emotions like kahn(confused) and sly smile and other such description alongside switching between first person monologue and third person narrative is messing up the immersion...
It really doesn’t make sense for the MC to buy the devil fruit first, for the same price he could upgrade all of his Haki to advanced stage and then with 3Bill more he could advance his swordsmanship. It just doesn’t make sense to focus on a devil fruit
