Shouldn't he have a whole lot of items he can invent to neutralise stronger opponents? Gas that can paralyze the nerves, poison, aphrosodiacs, viagra etc. He should be like that MC I read that made a surprisingly effective viagra that makes their peepee so hard that it hurts them, they have a need to hump even the ground just so they can relieve some of the pain. I forgot about the title but it was a fun read because MC is so shameless in any fights that he uses everything to win.

i sense a character development........ only those who are prepared to die should kill. Didn't Peter say that. And yet he is far from prepared for that.

While I agree that Peter should broaden his attacking technique, let's not forget he was basically handicapped here, he couldn't use his stronger form and he was unable to move due to the battlefield basically designed to give the samurai an advantage. While I'm not sure who would win in a more equal terrain, I'm sure it wouldn't be so one sided.

from this experience he should learn martial arts especially Chinese martial arts that's focusing in exploiting human weak point, making new armor that as hard as adamantium or Uru metal and adding adaption trait to your body and creation of cold weapon, researching symbiote maybe is a good idea to achieve that

I feel like you’re selecting when mc is smart. Like scenarios where he makes highly advanced superpowers and research. But when he is fighting he is always just “Hulk Smash” enemiese. The mc is only as smart as the author, and I’m sorry, but the mc doesn’t use his brain in the fights or in any other capacity than making super power serums. You need to expand on his character a lot more. We know he likes gwen, but we don’t actually know what the mc thinks. You’re essentially making a tv series, but cut out a lot of important stuff.

I dont know how Mc did not try to somehow make his lizard form smaller after all the obvious disadvantages it holds. Sometimes the Author forgets that Mc is a Genius.
