Great chapter as always, my man. Just one thing though, and this is my personal preference. I would rather that the MC stayed in Soul Society instead of going to the human world with Kisuke and the other shinigamis. That's already what happens in every fanfiction. Let the MC stay in Soul Society, make a name for himself, get a good position, and everything. That way, when Ichigo goes to SS to rescue Rukia, you can create some interesting interactions between them all.
I think the MC should join the Kido division because it offers a lot more for him as well as for the author and the flow of the story. First, it allows you to not change any captain/vice captain between now and the Bleach canon. Then, it opens the royal road for him to become captain of the Kido division once Aizen's accident on the hollowfication happens even if he does not know it (the captain and the vice captain leave the soul society). Also, the MC's biggest talent is clearly in manipulating reiatsu, the specialty of the Kido branch, this is the best place for him to become a powerhouse, he can always train with other powerful people in the world. other divisions for other aspects of shinigami. Finally, it allows to invent to deepen a new aspect of gotei 13 that the original work forgets. The MC's squad might even become a rival to 11 with a rivalry between the MC and Zaraki (Kido vs Zanzutsu). Maybe the MC will become so strong and prominent that the Kido Division can officially join the squads to turn the gotei 13 into the gotei 14.
