I'll just take a quote from Einstein and put it here . Difference between genius and Stupids are genius knows his limits Here the action of the mc is pointless and stupid . This arc seems completely unnecessary. He doesn't seem to understand difference between pride and arrogance. His character development would have been if he could humble himself and differentiate what is good or bad.
