I think mc should really try to trade and make deals with Starks, for one. Starks are pretty fair lords, so strengthening their position, along with Bear island ofc, would be most beneficial to mc. And they are rulers of then north obviously. And Starks are ones that keep stability in the north, and instability would not be good for mc's business.
