I'd like to leave some advice for the Author here. I know it's story and fictional and everything but playing with public perception is very freaking dangerous as a public figure. If you're a drugie for a week you're druggie for life in the eyes of public even when court declares you innocent. It's worse for these kind of issues that June is dealing with cause this makes the fans feel betrayed and a large amount of them would rather do mental gymnastics out of sheer rage to hate June rather than admit they were wrong. it's always better to put out fire than wait for a grande finaleOf course I understand the need for build up in a fiction, just putting this out there in case it helps
Not a fan of Cindy (for now) but she's a breath of fresh air compared to the previous antagonists, who are just petty, smug, jealous dudes, both mentors and fellow trainees alike. Cindy here in contrast is just someone with integrity doing her job. Still dumb tho for believing unverified rumors. Hope there's a repercussion for that. Not just because so I can feel cathartic when everything's solved, but also because it's so unprofessional of her. Her superiors the Double Ys said they wanted to reduce June's screentime yet here she goes out of her way to evil edit him, pretty much 'admitting' the rigging scandal.
I realy liked this book but these last Junes choices too not reveal it for so long with some suposedly epic plan is just bad he had a perfect time to reveal it no he has to go talk with editing team then make even more trouble for himself without normaly explaining it. i dont know what you author have in mind but these last chapters do not feel right and from paragraph coments i see that im not the only one thinking like this i realy hope that you will be able somehow salvage this situation and return everything on the perfect track it was until now
