In Naruto you have 3 techniques for cloning: the "Bunshin no Jutsu" the "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu" the "Tajū Kage Bunshin no Jutsu" the "Bunshin no Jutsu" is a rang E technique which is necessary to obtain its diploma it consists in creating clone but this one is not a physical clone (it has no substance and cannot interact with the environment, we can define it as an illusion) the "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu" is a rank B technique, it consists of creating a reduced number of physical clones of oneself. (this is not a prohibited technique) But, the "Tajū Kage Bunshin no Jutsu" is considered as a prohibited technique. The difference between the others and the number of clones created by the technique. the "Tajū Kage Bunshin no Jutsu" is considered forbidden because it presents a risk unlike the basic technique because the user risks splitting their chakra too much. In addition, when the clone has been deleted, the information feedback may be too much for the original, which can lead to serious risks or even death.
