I like this author, and I'm sure it will work out, but these are always the worst openings. So she couldn't seal his power. She really thought crippling him was the best way to go. Yeah, it's super frustrating. Hopefully, he gets his own power, too. Seems from the prologue that he's going to be the leech type MC that's useless unless he can take power from others. We'll see, though. I love the other two series from this author, so I'll definitely see where this goes.
