Meanwhile, 12 year old Konohamaru Sarutobi can take out one of Nagato’s Paths with a single Rasengan and Naruto can beat the rest of the Paths in a 20 minute battle just using variations of Rasengan and barely refined taijutsu. Come to think of it…the MC may actually lose considering the way he fights. He drags out battles, refuses to commit to actions, constantly tests his opponents rather than finishing the job, and doesn’t fight like a true ninja. In a fight with Nagato, he could use shadow clones and take the Paths out simultaneously using swift attacks to isolate the Paths and removing their advantage. What the MC would do in a fight with Pain: not make any clones, cycle through all of his skills showing off all his various abilities, making the fight as dramatic as possible, before finally finishing the fight. So yeah, there’s a good chance he’d lose given that’s the way he fights.
