Let's be completely honest here, would any competitive player play a game where a large part of your character's power depends on luck? The person can be the hardest and most talented player, if he is "unlucky"... Even if he has a normal level of luck, he would never be able to compete against the luckiest players, it's a game design that doesn't sustains itself.
