well for starters, for him not to fall so easily in a trap. he is supposed to be a pro. 2nd, he is slotted as someone who surpassed his master/man who trained him. So yes, I did expect it to not go perfectly smooth when trying to assassinate the best assassin. no matter how unprepared he is.
