You need to stop with the hiding i get it storywise but it detaches the mc from the characters around him how can the mc have any impact if he is always obscured it is one of greatest reasons for me having frustration with a fanfic when the classic protag hiding bs is in play, its better for the mc to face the challenges its what makes a fanfic interesting how he impacts the world and people around them. its only chapter 8 and i know him more as a female mercenary than himself which is stupid when fanfic has barely built its foundation apart this its really good all above just my opinion
