Bruh author avoiding giving Micheal an overpowered Soul trait but fine giving others one. One giving a kid a seventh teir soul trait + a mystical summon. Now we have a lord that can also produce soul trait (Not confirmed) but going one to others easily? For sure he also has 8 soul traits too like Micheal. What's more how op the duplicate soul trait is! That's why author killed him off first. Don't argue with me that others can also produce soul trait based on their soul trait or you just say they're rich and can buy soul trait easily, or you can say they have a farm (Lords rift, like the empire) so for years they have a constant number of soul trait they can give others. So looking at it like this based on the tier they can reach and the years of accumulation they done for sure if it's a clan the family of the clan has a minimum of 5 soul traits in their possession. For sure the leader will have an op soul trait + 7 more. Good job
NGL that betrayel hit like a bag of bricks. It was really well played, and had me feeling all kinds of anger. It was a really nice touch to kill them all off the way you did to get rid of loose ends. The benevolent pharaoh with the backdrop of Egyptian mystique really helped give it extra atmosohere. Obviously, there is still someone behind it all, but it isn’t a pressing matter to avenge Danny from the reader’s perspective. It can be brought into the story organically in the future. It was a risky move to juxtapose the flashback like that, but I think it will really pay off moving forward.
