Is the music that Raylen is playing on the piano identified as his inspiration in the chapter? Or are we left to imagine what piece he might be playing? I can easily envision him performing Franz Liszt's Piano Sonata in B Minor, S. 178. It fits seamlessly into the eerie and dark ambiance of his surroundings, accentuated by the thunder slicing through the sky outside. Moreover, the piece seems to speak to the spiritual journey, capturing the eternal struggle between good and evil, or perhaps the quest for redemption. Some even believe the music draws inspiration from Goethe's 'Faust,' where a pact is made with a demon. I think this resonates deeply with Raylen's character.

Something Raylen said earlier about being honest when he said what he said to Layla and Nathaniel about soulmates. And now this piano playing.. Makes me wonder if he wish he also had a soulmate and the piano playing is because something is awakening in him with Emily around. Idk, it just felt heartfelt and lonely and sad and beautiful all at once
