Tbh, I think the real villain here is King William. He made everyone's lives miserable and changed their fate to become who they are like Noor. I also think Noor's character is morally gray (though she now leads to be a bad person/culprit), and I don't blame her actions of successful revenge for herself. Even though her family was dead and disappointed on Noor's doing, her perspective with a mindset is full of hatred towards the royal members in Versailles. Don't get me wrong, but I do think Mary shouldn't pause her footstop that stumped upon to witness Noor and William. She could have continue walking to Anna and both could escape successfully.
Come to think of it ..... the time when Anna wanted to escape, Aiden helped her and was willing to go with her... To make sure that Anna truly leaves Versailles. Unfortunately, something happens. Magnus can be anyone in the palace... i don't want to point to Aiden that he's Magnus. But if it's Aiden, Magnus takes over Aiden's body? Since when? He's been very quiet for awhile now. Let's hope it's not Aiden.
