My heart was beating so fast and my hands were shaking as I was reading this chapter. This is an experience I've never experienced while reading. Such and intense and heart breaking chapter.

I can tell Dante is so done and fed up right now. He's feeling ready to release the anger as the inner demon in him will start to wake then shake down the entire kingdom of versailles. However, he still able to control his emotions between grieving and raging. To come understand Dante's character, how in the world people dislike this man when all he ever does is to proof himself that he is a person like everyone else exist? The Royals stole his whole childhood to become a fearless Knight; his mother was chosen by the King; he trained his whole life for plenty of wars that leaves so many scars on his body and came back with not losing his head. His mother was very ill as well as taken away in long distance by the order of the coward King. Dante followed Max's orders especially in a battle duel not to hurt Max-pathetic in front of the audience in exchange to bring back his mother, so he can be close to her again, but that never granted which leads it only took his only mother away without saying goodbye. The world just deceived Dante as if he is being used only for a weapon machine with a sharp mind. He can be cold and silent on the outside, but in the inside he is more capable who he is. Just wait till his demon power rise and be as King one day to turn everyone using a reverse uno card. I will wait for that in the future. This chapter is so heartbreaking!😭💔 Thank you for this chapter, Ash. 🙏🏻

I cannot believe that witch would deny Dante’s mother her rightful burial place! I think that heifer knew about Lucretia being on her last leg and kept it from everyone out of spite. As a matter of fact, she’s probably the one whose been poisoning her. That demon is about to go bat crazy!

Our poor Dante!!! He was truly his mom son and loved her unconditionally. And I bet Queen Maya was the one to keep the letter from the Palace to not let anyone know that Lady Lucretia was fading!!! And now Queen Maya says there is no space for her to be laid to rest!!!!! Queen Maya you are in for a rude awakening. You have just started to awaken the Demon and I pray that you receive your punishment

I think its time for that Demon to come out. This is just too much suppression. He already got humiliated after that petty battle, didn’t hold the end of the deal and now this? Terrible. Cant wait for when the f***ening of this trio happens.

This chapter made me an emotional wreck! 🥺😭 Lady Lucretia’s death was so heartbreaking especially because we could see how much Dante loves her despite Dante’s indifference to others. I’m just relieved that Anna was present during this difficult time. Please don’t blame yourself, Anna. Just remain by his side. 🥺 And don’t hold back, Dante! Can’t wait til his demon side fully shows up! 😈

The pain of losing someone you love is beyond what one can imagine. If it happens when you are away from the person, words are not enough to express the pain, guilt and the grief you will experience. Above all that if you are denied a decent final send off............I feel his pain and rage as I have experienced all of this myself. It is as if I am reliving those moments, those memories. Just that I was not fortunate enough to bid her a final good bye or to give a last kiss, to the least not even a final glance at her. Today again I failed to hold back my tears and pain. Even after years, I could feel the pain the same as that unfortunate day.

Anna…. Stay close to Dante. He needs you, especially now…

Maya is definitely the mastermind behind everything. Dante please remember your mother’s words from before. About happiness after darkness and her wanting you to be with a partner. Lean on Anna, finally take the place that is rightfully yours and make everyone eat their words for calling you cursed for not having a Crux!!

Anastasia has such a good heart. I'm glad she was there to provide him some help and make sure he wasn't alone. I wonder if she will be punished for going there with Emily when Maxwell explicitly told her she was not to interact with them.

Oh King Maxwell and Queen Maya you have signed your death warrants 😡 There is no way you can try to get away from Dante now. He will be on a mission of destruction. Now is the time for Ana to calm his demon and they need to meet with the Mother Queen and start a plan. I truly hope his Crux awakens and the soulmate bond also before the full moon. They need to get the ball rolling 😉 If Maxwell, Maya, and Niyasa are all gone then Mother Queen can take back over as Queen and Dante can be King 😉 Then Ana will be named Queen along with him. Problem solved 🤭 For now, Dante will get his revenge 😡

A bit worried today. Whatever happens next.. can go either way. We may get to see if Ana can tame him, or Ana will get the shock of her life if he loses himself... anything can happen..

I don't understand how Maya can be so dumb to continue to provoke Dante. Does she think shes's putting him in his place so he'll be an obedient servant? Maxwell is an absolute idiot for giving that woman any actual power. She should have stuck to managing the courtesans. I hope Dante doesn't hold resentment towards Ana since he spent his mother's last moments with her instead. She would have wanted him to protect Ana too. So sad. Can't wait to see how this progresses since the demon is making his presence known.
