The guy is way too op for his world not to mention too cautious. The story no longer gives a sense of urgency with twists and turns in the plot. He could sometimes let himself loose instead of acting stable and rational all the time. Being more confident and a bit more unhinged would add some flavor to the mc's character.
love it, personally i hope the royalty deosnt stupidly try to ask some compensation or something, The Only Person that the royalty should be mad about is Marie after all she is clearly manipulating their son and caused this problems that might cause enemity between the royalty, the Duke and their adventurer star, after all mc can always leave the kingom and go to an enemy kingdom and they will be f*cked up because they know how op he is and how valuable he is with his knowledge of the acient Artefacts, it will be stupid to offend him just because their son lost, specially when mc was considerate with them and fight with honor.
