So many people complaining mc is hiding his powers. Uhh thats the point, if he was an S class he would get unwanted attention. If he ranked any higher than average his character at this point in the story, without further reasoning, would be inconsistent
In this setting, the average man is powerless. B rank is exceptional, not average. I too, would have preferred it to show him as someone without any since the title of the novel is Son Of Conglomerates, and I had hoped it would focus more on him using his position rather then powers. I ended up dropping cause I didn't see that happening. It's been a long time, so I don't remember the specifics.
Forfixs:wrong, being average is the ideal way to hide your powers, being below average is just an annoying decoy that will be used as a hook for a simple slap-in-the-face plot. After all, if he were a b or c rank, he would be just another person in the crowd. For me, it would be even more interesting if the machine showed that he was someone normal, without powers. If you still have this novel in the library, was it worth reading? Will there be an annoying slap-in-the-face plot? I would appreciate it if you answered me. I'm going to put this novel on the fridge while I wait for a response.
He humbles himself to the core of the Earth. Being too powerful makes you a target, while being too weak invites ridicule and scorn. Sigh, it should be just average, around a D-C level, which is more than enough in my opinion. The MC should learn from their past life experiences. Being weak leads to being trampled upon, while being strong invites fear and hostility. (mtl)
