Good chapter, the only thing I found inconsistent would be Mark's quick acceptance or trust in Draig, he doesn't even suspect, he accepts it very quickly, or do you not put it so that we don't even know that Mark suspects?, but that leaves a bad impression, At least you should have put a paragraph where the mc thinks that he does suspect but for the moment he will listen and observe, after all he is a murderer!
