Well,at least he is becoming self-aware.Harry has been spending too much time with children,they have become his new standard.Harry have gotten proud of being ahead,ahead of children.Remember,Hogwarts is basically basic education,but for magic.I mean sure you can get advance classes,but it’s not collage or a trade school,you don’t get experience or get to be master mage at the end of Hogwarts,it’s basically 1-12 grade,but for magic.The problem is,is that Harry is facing things that not highschool level stuff,but things that should be a expert at to try.So Harry really needs a teacher teaching him this type of stuff,or he is going to get smoked.Harry has,and is,fighting way out of his league right now,there is a reason he only mostly been winning against the golden trio and Malfoy of all people.Every win,that hasn’t been children,he had major help in,and he still got wreck most of the time.Sure,he smart and clever,but as far as I am concerned,he can’t beat any adult without his crest helping him,especially if they had been trained,or have battle experience.So this weapon that he is making to fight the basilisk’s poison better be good,especially since this basilisk is probably way more powerful then the one in the book.I mean, he probably went with goblin silver because it adsorbed the poison in the book,but the book was been inaccurate,and we don’t even know what this AU goblin silver or basilisk can really do.One wrong move and he’s dead,so this weapon or armor he’s going to make,better work.Because if doesn’t,Harry would not have the skills or support to survive if it fails.
