This is getting crazier by each chapter. If Aurore dies in one loop, will she be revived when the loop resets? or she'll be dead for good because she is a beyonder ? At this point it looks like most of the people in this village are probably dead already. Man even Klein didn't face so much horror in his first few days as a Beyonder.
That was a very interesting chapter. I thought it was going to turn into a Re:Zero or Steins:Gate situation where he continually looped to save his sister, but thankfully that’s not the case (yet). Still, this definitely raised more questions than answers… definitely looking forward to future updates. Until next time, my cabbages!
I have said how much this book resembles resident evil 4 before and after this scene I am convinced that cuttlefish has been greatly inspired by it. this scene of the undead walking away at the last second reminds me of the villagers and chainsaw zombie going into the churched when the bell rang on it thus saving Leon's ***. interestingly enough both of the novels I currently follow(Circle of inevitability&shadow slave) have been greatly influenced by games like dark souls.
