If there is more than a day between chapters, my emotional investment in the story fades. if there are more than 3 days between chapters, the details of the story stay to fade, causing me to feel my time is being wasted. when is more than 5 days in sure my money is being wasted as I have already forgotten what is happening in this story with all the others in actively reading. that's why a good upload schedule is important. if something goes down and the author needs to take a break and informs their readers, it usually goes down well. but too many such breaks cause some people to start to riot.
