Translation is good. Novel is basically just borderline good. Many loopholes like main character backstory, kaya parents being too trusting, makino abduction and only female crew.

Lets be honest, bellemere was a former navy soldier and arlong was a pirate, anybody could tell that 1 of them will die. There is no innocent or villain when u r ruled by dictators like world government.

IMHO the story of this fan fic is not that interesting the mc is just … I do not really like his personality supposed goals etc. The translation is fine and hope you keep translating
