you know what i mulled over authors apology he sent out recently for last couple of days. I really believe if we didnt point out that he should already have chapters backed up for us he wwas going to do another hiatus on us. the thing that kills me is the very least he could do is release 3 chapters a day. during the war but he didn't. he's just going to hope we forget about it. so until he does I am not buying privilege again or sending any golden tickets or stones anymore.
I understand why the AI shot down all the planes, but I hope the metalstorm was aimed in a way that as many pilots as possible survive, same with hoping the invasion succeeds with as little loss of life as possible on both sides. With atomic printing, broken planes and other war supplies can be turned into new and more advanced versions in negligible time, but humans take at minimum a bit under 2 decades to become soldiers and can't be repaired once dead. All surviving soldiers can easily be put through the ARES program to prepare for the aliens and unite the world's military with some degree of brainwashing for everyone and overwriting as new NYX agents for those who are the most unwilling to unite under Aron's leadership and those who volunteer. Since only a very small portion of were guilty of the invasion/attacks on Eden and Aron, most of the government could be retrained for a united earth, I imagine that nearly all government employees worldwide will either be offered or required to pass through a similar VR training and biological upgrade program as ARES, while only (publicly) punishing those at the top who launched the nukes.
