Author I'm not going to lie, this all feels too cheap. Idk exactly why so I'll just tell what I feel, his parents death literally didn't affect me in any way... and I'm a super emotional person. I don't know if we didn't interact enough with the parents or because their death felt too forced, but anyway, seeing him sulking makes LOGICAL sense, but I can't EMOTIONALLY relate, and that makes everything feels bloated. Skipping 8 years and introducing 500 characters don't help either. And I'll go even further, I don't think this aligns with his character... a intelligent and manipulative reincarnator into a world of magic, the line of the impossible is so blurry that I would expect him to be more determined than ever trying to find a way to revive his family, no hesitation needed, he WILL FIND A WAY kinda of spirit, y'know?
