40 chapters done, interesting novel to read, however it doesn’t grab my attention enough to warrant reading further. It is full of inconsistencies which is to be expected in a fantasy novel, however it’s a very flat and emotionless novel which will eventually end achieving nothing. I found the premise a good idea, I had a lot of hope for it (enough to invest some fast passes) but the delivery fails. Tl:;dr - don’t bother
