I mean.. These should be memories that show the past and solve some mysteries, but instead we read almost 2 chaps about some boring random fight that doesn't help with anything. Feels like instead of following the main flow of the memories, we start with side stories that don't mean much.

There are currently two gods by his side- a goddess whose strength you are vaguely aware of and a manmade god whose capabilities you are now highly of. If Aegis of the Arctic Deity faces the Vylkrspawns again, wouldn't this create a baseline for you to determine the strength of the Vylkrspawns and compare that to other gods, even if Orion isn't yet capable of facing a god? So how can you say it's unimportant and unnecessary?
