Comments of chapter undefined of I am a Problematic Dungeon Master

that elven town was the only one for thousands of kilometers and were simply surrounded by a bunch of goblin settlements and a now recently born dungeon. the next town is the human town and then the beastkin town, but the distance.. Why release a dragon on the elves? or are the goal of just wiping them all out? That could make sense if the dragon was sent by the human-supremacy church while trying to make it look like an unfortunate event for everyone present.
