The reason for the text dissapearance for some is cuz of the usage of <> brackets. I guess webnovel allows or uses direct html coding in the chapter, to make it easier. TL;DR... The text is in <> which webnovel reads as code, which is invalid

Try clearing "CACHE" in acc. settings. Fixes it
