I can say, that for someone who is inexperienced in writing stories, the fic has developed succinctly and plausibly, without much exaggeration. I like the way you're making the association with Fate work, and from what I can tell, you write with a clear path of where you want to go with your arcs. I've seen negative comments effect fanfic writers multiple times, and it always annoys me. Some are complaining that the story is too canon focused, or too far from canon, or some other inane complaint. In the end, the fanfic is all about the idea in the writers head, and should be appreciated as such. This fic is one that I look forward to updates for greatly in my library. It's original enough to not just be a different monologue in the MC's head, but true to the *world* of the original story. You've said it yourself, the people who complain are a small minority, please don't let it effect you, how you write your story or the story itself.
