While others might BOOOO! against MC for choosing this type of skills. He's being logical here people. Powers like [Return By Death] from Re:Zero is a powerful advantageous skill. The only reason why this is seen as a curse from the anime is because the protagonist Subaru is just pure pathetic with it. He was just a normal person and his sudden shift to a new environment didn't take time for him to adapt. Yet a he came good for someone being normal. Now with Alexander with this power, he's more efficient and strong than compared to Subaru. He can use this at the worst case scenario. FYI peps & author - [Return By Death] is not an actual going back in time from save points. It was revealed in later LN volumes and anime that this skill can result of multiple timelines continuous existing. It's more like the skill allowed the host to traversed the soul back to previous timelines but the timeline he died will still exist. So yeah author I think you made a mistake of Alexander purchasing this since this is not a legitimate skill. He should have chosen from other sources but he chooses the one from Re:Zero which is not real anyway.

Since it existed before the concept of time, the hypothetical strength of D tier-2c or higher……alex had to fight his way up.
