I agree with you there, except the part where people use her for that potential. When I can say without a doubt 95% of fanfics have cookie cutter hestia from the Original.

Hestia has so much untapped potential, which is the reason why she's overused. Worry not. I shall give you a nice Hestia novel....I hope.
