Thanks for the chapter, also for the past few chapters now you have been using the words bewildered, surprised or dumbfounded to describe new things the MC has learnt. can't you try changing that I mean it looks dumb reading how someone can be surprised about everything little thing that goes on around him. you make it seem like he doesn't think for him self or even the tiniest reveal will greatly astonish him. Also my guess is that the octopus is the great old one, primodial demiurge, and blind idiot God Azathoth

I have to say this is one of my favorite chapters, love the thought of him wanting to create his own path and it being dreams reminds me of the sandman🙂
