Not gonna lie they had me in the first half I was in disbelief

I was thinking, why doesn't the MC use those Hank Pym devices to capture the leviathan(the scp that is in the ocean sleeping), If the MC sends the foundation and Hank to research how to shrink the scp and make it the size of a normal fish, he would be able to contain it. Obviously, this would open up the possibility of any scp being captured like this, but leviathan in particular has the excuse that his danger is his size and not his power, So just shrinking him would be enough to neutralize the threat, right?
