I really don't like the direction this novel has gone. It was a good start with music and the Morden family as the main focus, but now the author keeps adding unnecessary stuff. AI, government, and a mother who is some kind of secret agent, 230+ chapters—but he is almost the same age, normalizing his pretty much public relationship whit taylor even tho he is a minor, overcomplecating stuff with his kidnapping, making him basically a superhuman
Honestly, this character has already become surreal, you can't take any of this seriously anymore, couldn't you just remain a singer and few other things? Soon this will become a marvel fanfic, well, to tell the truth this is already closer to a fantasy story of hitech superheroes than the initial proposal
the author is moving further and further away from the original idea. At first it was a story about how an adult guy (20-25 years old) was reborn in the world of his favorite series, with a golden finger in the form of a gacha. The story was in the style of a comedy everyday about a wonder guy, now it is more like a Marvel/DC harem story about a guy who is a genius (like Spider-Man, but without the action elements). Author, you need to decide who your hero is: an adult guy with knowledge from a past life, a teenage guy with psychological problems, or a comic book superhero.
Author ignore them. Yes it's a modern family fanfic but his life has already developed. Now it obviously can't revolve around the main cast only. Things are going to happen in his life. Once something personal happens then obviously Modern family cast will appear since they are all his friends. They have nothing to do with his business or career so they won't appear in those chapters. It's as simple as that. Plus that Gacha is OP.
I feel like the novel is losing its whole essence . It's a modern family fanfic and it's going totally in some weird path including tech making his character totally weird. I just don't find my motivation to continue novel like before. I loved his interaction between the dunphys now which I don't find anymore. To be frank it's started to get boring
