Comments of chapter undefined of Lord of the Mysteries: Path of the Abyss

Am I the only one who gets annoyed when an MC is either from the world he is reborn in or transmigrated to despite having been in our world, which we then find out is always some sort of fate/plot by some other worldly being. Either the MC's old self or another entity like why can it never just be no other influence or secret plan that was already in the making for years upon years.
