with at least 4 children on the way the lamia, I think it would be a bad idea to add the Hawkin at the moment. it's going to be allot of new characters needing time and attention to be implemented in a good way. But it also is a character that can be done allot with, so leaving the door open for a later meeting could be a way to spread the load of introducing new characters. could help both the readers and author with getting a feel and forming opinions of all the new family. it's also easier to remember who is who, and with what abilities. if they are not added back to back to back, to much info tends to meld together and have parts lost in memory.

That Hawkin woman could be a part of her character evolving. Especially if she also became something like a s*aver as well. Almost ironic. Given her Dama's origin story. It could cause Astra to give her the blood power. Especially since she already has a kind heart. A good duality between her nature powers and the blood power. Her kind heart making the Hawkin woman change while the Hawkin woman changes her. A very good combination for the family or clan. Her wife could help them with future jobs and opportunities with her connections. There is soo- much potential for you to write in the future when they visit other countries and cities.
