That makes sense in my opinion. Rhefia is more male in her thinking then female along with Aethisia. Besides it truly is up to the author on how the characters grow seeing as the author is in charge of the characters so they know based on how they feel what would work

Personally I prefere Option 2. Deer kin Dama would probably be the leader since she is trained better then a possible hoblin or what Yaska is (Forgive me if I got the names wrong I am not great with names)
