author what you said is correct but this is one piece they all around travel sea without entertainment not like earth, so all pirates have is drinking, smoking, etc. and they have strong super human physics so these won't much like in earth unless they are ill or old and they also have advanced medicines in their.

If everyone learns seimei kikan I think they could go back to their vices, With seimei kikan they can get rid of the harmful parts that drinking and cigarettes leave in their bodies. It's a good idea for everyone to get motivated to learn seimei kikan.

I wouldn't say anything if you just didn't promote it, but what you've done is basically veiled restriction, it's a fantasy world, there are fruits where you can open someone's body for treatment, direct healing and even pure gold... all kinds of Akuma no mi, besides, when many of these old pirates smoked and drank during their lives, a strong body can take you further anyway, only exception so far was Roger who died of illness among the strong, who knows what illness he had, besides only having a doctor with no supernatural abilities in the crew, in the end I don't care at all if the mc doesn't do drugs or drink, but I do care if the mc restricts his crew for something so stupid.

Not really a fan of mc forcing his opinion on his crew mates, there is no evidence that drinking or smoking is bad for you in one piece and even if it is it should be a personal choice. Plus pirates drink and party, it's like half the fun of being a pirate.

Hey, we all got opinions. Personally, the idea of never drinking or having a smoke because of being a health but, or being terrified of addiction, is just not how I would want to live. You don’t get out of life alive, so why deny what joys you can get? I also find it a bit selfish that he would force that view on others. Abstain if you want, but my habits are none of your business. If I was Zoro or Sanji, it would be a “I don’t need you to accomplish to dreams. I’ll get the next boat around!” (Especially since Luffy refuses to be himself and puts on a character of the former Luffy half the time, and regularly manipulated people, which are two big warning signs that you might be a psychopath. Though yes, some people become alcoholics and lose everything, and some people can’t control themselves sand smoke two packs a day until they die. To each their own. I can understand the smoking and making sur none of them are alcoholics. But having them occasionally drinking a celebratory drink or soemthing should be fine.

np i also hate smoking (grandpa smoked and hated the smell of it) and my parents and i dont drink alcohol and the few times ive tasted it was really bad so i have 0 interest in it either
