richard sorge? the journalist? yeah i love old spy memoribillia i love how its vastly different from the james bond movies

PilgrimJagger:As for the spies, you are right but I couldn't go too deep with explanations and scenes explaining things because I would have slowed down the book. However, even if your critique is logical I can't help stressing about the fact that here different factors are at play. 1) There was no reason to suspect Erik in Etrium( he has a birth certificate of Eteoum made by the BSC, he is registered at the Mercenary guild by the BSC by the system at a date that doesn't coincide with the period he was in Frant. So, if people suspects something, they go look at all these things and things doesn't add up)2) The Flyssa is an uncommonly used weapon but not so much that only one person in the world uses it. 3) Etrium has spies in Frant, but the fact that a random guy called Erik takes a test in the mercenary guild doesn't mean anything, especially considering that they can't see him use the Flyssa because what he did inside the room was not shown. Only the results were. In WW2 there was a communist German spy in Japan, what he mostly did was read the newspaper and reporting back to Russia (I forgot the name but he was a cool guy) so, even spies don't know everything and even if they did know about Erik there was no reason for them to connect Erik Kay to Erik Romano. The Flyssa COULD have given him problems, but no one saw it and Erik knew the results were going to be private so he should have remained anonymous. Ofc as soon as he learns this he becomes careful. Keep reading and you will understand.
