Um, to be honest, I wouldn’t mind if you switched to first person, however, due to us being used to you writing in third person, I would suggest you slowly incorporate first person POV from time to time while still writing in third person POV. Until you completely change switch to first person later down the road. But anywho thanks for the chapter and I hope your eventually able to write on a continuous basis at your own pace that is!

Why not use both persopectivs

i agree with the rest - go with the change, but slowly integrate it, and you can also use both. Some other stories start the POV from different characters and just start with: "CharacterName's POV:"

keep going as you want, just don't make it cringe
