It makes me sad to know that the MC is the type of person who thinks that just because someone hurt him and cheated on him once, so everyone is the same. Of course, I'm not saying trust everyone, but he's closed himself off from everything and just thinks pragmatically. If this continues, after he takes his revenge he will have no reason to live. I hope there is some development for the MC to mature more or that at least he gives Rowena space so they can have a real relationship.

Hehe wondering whether his bloodline is worthy? The question is whether or not Rowena's bloodline is enough for Asher's.

I really loved how author showed the conflict in MC's emotions.... MC clearly felt the queen's emotions but due to his past his not ready to trust anyone ..... but i do want to see where this goes.... hopefully MC will open his heart to the queen... Just one request to author ... please don't break the queen's heart 🥺

Haven't read the further chapters yet. My assumption would be that Asher would have gotten someone's blood(someone whose blood is compatible with Rowena's only for the bloodline test) through his servants and wouldn't need to worry anymore. For now everything is a means to the end for him. He himself is avoiding feelings for Rowena because of the wounds from his past life, so he doesn't mind manipulating some little test. That is just my assumption.

Is it just me... or are the chapters really getting shorter... or probably the word count is same, but I felt like nothing of significance really happened in this chapter... 🤷🏼‍♂️
