Talk no Jutsu?
The author has a major issue with power scaling. His other novels MC power scale are also always all over the place
He's able to conjure a spell to block Beatrix, a rank 6, but could never react to a rank 2-3?
are they really 15?
Lol how can you understand that but also consciously apply that to your sister?
I'm confused here, so the sword has 5 moves, but it's a sword drawing arts that focused on an attack when drawing the sword. So, are the 5 moves 5 different ways to draw, or are they 4 different moves to link with the first drawn, like the act of drawing is one move, after that move their is a pattern of 4 more moves before he have to sheath it again.
I find it odd, too. So is he going to start showing dominance now? It's like he's hiding but showing at the same time. Plus shouldn't he be 32 or something, why is he literally acting like a kid, I get the raging hormones part from before and it's logical, but the fact that he triggered and picks fights with almost everyone villain he ever interacted with is a bad way to not stand out. And now he even acts and thinks like a child with some of his internal dialogs and the confused questioning of his situation.
How is it a pierced motion from a sword drawing art? Wouldn't that ruin the momentum of the sword draw motion?
To get to this point, it could have been executed better, like he plans everything well already but still suffered in the face of absolute power. That way, he can still have character development without creating inconsistencies in character design.
I don't mean to disrespect, but the early chapters are super important in attracting readers. Anyone can say at the x number chapter everything will make sense, cuz now all I have to go on is blind faith in it'll get better and to get to that point it cost me coins as well. And the issue with this section is that it's just this inconsistency with what you have built so far, if you wanted to make him naive and eventual get punished to learn from it, I wouldn't have had a problem, heck that'll be a good character development. But to have him be so cautious one minute and then disregard it later with bad justification that everything will eventually works out instead of preparing for the worst since he die once and apparently don't want to experience it again, it create a certain inconsistencies in character design.
The isn't about being cold blooded, but context. If you're from today, society suddenly transliterated to a fictional world full of wars and demons, then at first you'll still synthesize with others' deaths. But to a person born in this world, especially those at the bottom of the food chain, in order to survive at a young age, they have to be cunning and cool headed in most situations. The constant sight of death and killing would also steeled one's resolved. Being compassionate isn't wrong, but being compassionate at the wrong time is a deadly mistake that could make great foundation work for character development.
Hearing them talk about demons and sudden starts convulsion would be a very good indication to gtfo. To run directly toward them is like seeing a bomb go off and start getting closer. I thought for sure that only typical naive cliché MC would do something so stupid.
Also, if he was cautious and not daring or blindly brave like typical MC, why would he risk investing something that could wipe out a party in an illegal dungeon? To me, this makes no sense, and with him having no special skills besides the sword drawing art, how is he so confident in escaping something that wiped out 5 people and he constantly told himself not to be arrogant? There is so much contradiction happening in 1 chapter that ruins the character that has developed until now.
Victor's 4 ways sausage fest
This is one of my most anticipated moments in every harem novel, the make or break moment at which will tell if the harem and drama in the novel is logical or just a generic happy-go-lucky scenario. The Auther build-up to the MC revealing his harem to his super OP wife is very well executed. From the very first time where he demanded Ceti to bed with him, to her revealing her true feeling for him, and to the recent Oracle warning Rowena. Everything fits perfectly for a queen who's trapped between duty and love. So excited to know her reaction as well as how they plan to proceed. Thank you for the great novel!
