if you have the idea of taking power of the iron islands, it is better after taking power develop the men and ships until the war of the 5 kings and after tywin is being defeated by robb stark and protecting in harrenhol far from his lands you can invade lannisport with part of your fleet as all the men of lannister lands will be accompanying your lord and there will be few defending your lands, you can even find the secret entrance created by tyrion to enter and take lannister rock and all as hostages to threaten tywin.

it would have been better if he had burned the ships of the royal fleet and left them all stranded in the iron islands so they could trade with the king.

was hesitant to read this. most stories dealing with the ironborn end up just being a rpe fest but this has a great start.

they must have more ships than robert's fleet, because robert's fleet was divided into 3 one with selmy, stannis and king robert himself while lord paxter should be in charge of transporting supplies, thus having more ships than there are in pyke.
