Did no one realize that House Blacktyde of the Island of Blacktyde arent the Rulers or even a house from Orkmont?? Like they are two different islands of houses. It would be like setting your story in the Karhold and have the defenders shouting UMBER!! UMBER!! UMBER!! or BOLTON! BOLTON! or another Northern house. If you are going to choose a setting at least try to learn about it. I mean it would be interesting to read about some of the Houses of Orkmont becoming great and unifying the Ironborn especially since the old house Hoare was from Orkmont but that was kind of out of place. Unless I missed something and those were actually reinforcements from Blacktyde as in the neighboring island but if that’s the case the speech about “our land” kind of loses strength and significance and just becomes a lie.
